We are now looking for

University trainees

to join us at the Research Unit of Health Sciences and Technology. The university traineeship should be part of the applicant's studies.

Position 1:

Assessment of motion artifacts in cone-beam CT of the chest using simulations and measurements.

Who are you?

A student with a BSc degree (at the latest on the 30th of June 2026).
Expertise in physics, medical imaging and image processing with either MATLAB or Python.
Willingness to do a Master's thesis on the topic.

Position 2.

Phantom development and performance characterization of cone-beam CT for bone marrow edema assessment.

Who are you?

A student with a BSc degree (at the latest on the 30th of June 2026).
Expertise in physics, medical imaging and image processing with either MATLAB or Python.
Willingness to do a Master's thesis on the topic.

Salary

The positions are fixed-term for 1.6.2026-31.8.2026. A trial period, as outlined in the general collective agreement for universities, is applied for the position. The salary is 2448 €/month.
