Together with the University of Oulu's six faculties, international degree programs and numerous university students, we organise live video sessions on our virtual platform and produce inspiring video material both in 16:9 format and as vertical versions for sharing on social media.
We are now looking for an enthusiastic, competent and efficient
Communications trainee
with good language and teamwork skills for an 80% part-time traineeship in the Strategy and Science Policy unit, Talent Boost team for the period 24 April – 21 June 2023.
About the job
Your tasks as a communications trainee include planning, shooting, editing, subtitling, and publishing video productions, as well as providing practical support before and during live sessions. In successful small-scale live sessions and video productions, we want to ensure good image and sound quality as well as lighting. Editing is also done for previously produced materials.
Who are we looking for?
We require that you have previous experience in successful video productions and fluent management of filming equipment and software. Video production mainly takes place on the Linnanmaa and Kontinkangas campuses and their vicinity, also partly outdoors. A mileage allowance is paid for the use of your own car for the shoots. A good command of the English language is particularly important in this internship, as the videos are subtitled in English.
The traineeship must be part of the studies so we require that the student selected for the position can include the traineeship in their studies.
We pay the communications trainee a monthly salary from 24 April to 21 June 2023 80% * €1559.45 / month.
